If this is your day for rest, like the rest of us, You still need encouragement. Be encouraged by this wonderful verse from Ephesians 2 Verse 8:

Ephesians 2 Verse 8: “For by Grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift”.

We’re not saved by work. We’re saved by the grace of God. In Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. Not of work lest any man should boast.”

We’re not saved by works. Good works can’t save us. Salvation is in the mercy of God, not in the merit of man. It’s in the Grace of God, not in the goodness of man. Salvation is not a prize that you receive at the end of the race, it’s a gift that enables you to run the race.

The minute I trusted the Lord Jesus Christ, in that moment, God saved me. Isn’t that wonderful! It’s not of works.

I cannot work my soul to be saved. This work was done by my Lord. I will work like any slave for the love of God’s dear Son.

Grace is often described as God’s Riches At Christ Expense.

God so loved that He gave, so none would perish without His Grace. Such a wonderful decision to accept and trust Our Lord and Our Friend {Christ Jesus}.

Acceptance bring us in to God’s plans for our lives, Jeremiah 29 verse 11, Plans for our good and not for our ruin. We can try to do things on our own, they may or may not work out, or we can step into, by acceptance of Him, the plans and purpose He has for our lives. Plans for Good and not for ruin
