Matthew 9 Verse 22: “‘Have courage daughter’, He said, ‘Your faith has made you well’. And the woman was made well from that moment”.
When we reach out in faith to touch God. He always acknowledges us. Our Lord and Our Friend is never too busy and He is always ready to be an unending source of strength and healing power.
When we approach God with positive faith, He says to us, “be of good courage, your faith has made you well.”
The concept of a divine touch and healing powers was common in the culture of Biblical times, according to many accounts in the Gospels. People looked to ‘holy men’ as well as to physicians for healing.
The Physician, and Gospel writer told many stories of Jesus passing through crowds and lives were touched. In Luke 8 Verse 21: A woman who had been plagued with an disease for many years and who had received no cure from a lot of doctors, reached out to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment and was healed.
Our Lord and Our Friend has provided a way for people of faith to come. Hebrews 4 Verse 16: “Therefore let us approach the throne of Grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us at the proper time”.
Our Faith should make us whole.
