Faith In Action ‘We Need To Forgive’

We Need To Forgive
We need to understand that we have been forgiven through the greatest violent act that has ever happened, Christ Jesus death on the cross.
It is not natural to forgive. Our spirits demand justice. “They need to pay. They hurt us and they need to understand just how badly they hurt us. We need Jesus to be forgiven, and, we need Jesus in order to forgive.

Looking down from the Cross, His body bruised and bleeding for us; Jesus said, “Father forgive them they know no what they do”. Luke 23 verse 34.
The Apostle Paul under the leading of the Holy Spirit also tells us: “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ”. Ephesians 4 verse 32.

Where do we get that kindness? Where do we get that tenderheartedness? It comes from Jesus. The same One who has forgiven us is the One who puts His Spirit in us and enables us to have the force and the power to forgive.

When there is forgiveness, there is personal emancipation. we are set free!
Where there is reconciliation, we are set to gain a brother or sister. We are going to set free our brother or sister.

Forgiveness brings renewal, and with renewal. There’s going to be revival. Because we are free from what holds us back ‘unforgiveness’ . Real revival is getting the walls down and getting right with one another.

How can this happen, when there seem so much against it. “Let the message of The Messiah dwell richly among you, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, and singing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.”

It is amazing that Christian leaders often preach forgiveness, but find it difficult to forgive one another or partner with one another. The way we treat our brother and sister is a measure us.
Forgiveness is The Key, to unlocking many doors of societies ills.

God Bless
