Faith In Action ‘Bidding Calling Summoning’

Mark 3 Verse 13: “The He {Jesus} went up the mountain and summoned those He wanted, and they came to Him”.

Summoned to the mountain with The Lord. what a beautiful experience that is. If only that was all He summons us to. Psalm 23: describes the Lord as our Shepherd.

There is nothing we lack {v1}

Our life is being renewed [v3}

And then there is {v4} Even when I go through the darkest valley. ‘Oh No’

But because it was the Lord who summons us, {v4} we fear no danger.

Summoned to be with the Lord. in Mark 3 it was talking about the disciples being summoned. One of those disciples was Thaddaeus.

Not much is mentioned about Thaddaeus in the Bible, but He was summoned.

Not much might be mentioned about us in life. but it is all about the calling and ‘Who’ called us.

Thaddaeus it seems might not have had the personality of Peter. It also seems he might not have had the thunder of the Son of thunder John and James.

But Jesus used him for what he had, and Thaddaeus went to the mountain, when he was summoned,

Thaddaeus: Had the faith to believe the calling.

Had the faith to make himself available for the calling.

Had the faith to be used in the calling.

John 3 verse 16: For God loved the world in this way; He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone {Whosoever} believes in Him, will not perish but have eternal life.

God is calling us all to believe in and follow Him, maybe to high place, or maybe just to places where we can be used for His Glory.

His promises are true, Hebrews 13 verse 5: “I will never leave you or forsake you”.

Let be open to His bidding, His calling and His summoning.

God Bless
