Scripture Verse Of The Week

verse colosians

Colossians 3 verse 16: “Let the message about the Messiah dwell ‘Richly’ among you, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, and singing psalm, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your heart to God”.

The word richly means ‘abundantly’ in great measure, in large amounts.

The Message of The Messiah, is to dwell ‘Richly’ in us, because it is Good News.

Richly in abundant assurance.

Richly because He is our sufficiency, in everything we do.

Isaiah 61 verse 1: “The Spirit of The Lord is on Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to bring good news to the poor, He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and freedom to the prisoners”.

In Luke 4 verse 16 to 21: Christ Jesus took this passage as reference to Himself in a declaration that ‘the Year of the Lord’s favor’ had finally arrived.

The message of The Messiah, good news to the poor, healing to the brokenhearted, liberty to the captives, we were all held captive to the power of sin, but the Messiah has set us free. Freedom of living in the power and purposes Our Lord and Our Friend has for our lives, has been restored by the message of Good News.

Ephesians 1 verse 7: “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His Grace”.

The Message of the Messiah, allows us to dwell more richly, through what He did on the cross to pay the price, for redemption, we could never pay. We have this according to the riches of His Grace,

So let us all today, let the message of The Messiah, dwell more richly in us, so more can be won for His Kingdom.

God Bless.
