Scripture Verse Of The Week ‘Galatians Verse ‘

galatians

Galatians 3 verse 2: ‘“I only want to learn this from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law or by hearing with faith”.

In Galatians we see the believers had experienced the freedom of Christ, but were being influenced by the Judaizers to consider a much  more legalistic lifestyle.

it is a great time of year to remember the freedoms we have in Christ. Our Lord, Our Savior and Our Friend, has just paid an awesome price, through His death and resurrection of the cross.

Religion organized religion will always try to pull us back under some kind of law. Galatians 3 verse 13:

“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us”

No one can live perfectly by the law, and the Apostle Paul goes on tho explain, by quoting Habakkuk 2 verse 4 “But the righteous shall live by faith’.

Those who have been made righteous {righteous because what Christ did on the cross}. live by faith. Their faith is in Christ, who redeemed them from the curse of the law, by personally becoming a curse.

Such was the price of Jesus’ atonement of the human race, which means all who were under the curse, even Gentiles can now avoid just punishment for sin {Wrong-doing}, and instead receive right standing with God.

The Holy Spirit is God’s pledge of everlasting life as well as the source of power by which believers can live new lives for God.

Galatians 3 starts with Paul saying : ‘You foolish Galatians, who has hypnotized you”

Let no one take away from us the awesomeness of Grace, Mercy and Love, Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend, extends to any ‘whosoever’ which means you and me, by dying and rising again in our place. That any ‘whosoever’ like you and me, can accept and receive new life through the Holy Spirit.

Let no one take away this freedom, as we live our lives by the Power of The Holy Spirit.

God Bless.
