Faith In Action His Plans His Purposes

Psalm 50 verse 15: “Trust me in your times of trouble and I will rescue you, and you will give Me glory”.

Proverbs 19 verse 21: Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”

There seem to be a fascination and concerning attitude with end times events, and as we look at events in the world today, you may feel anxious about how history is going to turn out.

Perhaps you are confused and troubles about the times and end times. Circumstances all around the buildup of weapons, shaky economies, the turmoil of various nations, and the warnings of prophets  of doom, Those so called prophets of doom, are amazing in themselves, a prophetic message in the Kingdom of God which we all belong to, should be about uplifting messages, because ever thing that will happen has already been written about in The Word Of God {The Bible}. But understandably current circumstances around us can be troubling and confusing.

The words of Jesus in Mark 13 and Matthew 24 verse 1 to 51 and Luke 21 verses 5 to 36 speak about these issues.

We see in Mark 13 verse, Jesus disciples were commenting on the impressive look of the buildings in the temple complex. Jesus replied by noting how temporary such structures actually are, and He contrasted the strength and beauty of the buildings with faithful loyalty and service of His followers.

Man made things will inevitably crumble and fall, but the righteous work of God will last forever. So as believers we ought to stand firm, serving Our Lord and Our Friend faithfully, understanding the times and the seasons, but certainly not falling prey to the seductive dangers of the times.

We should avoid fascinating, fearful guess work about events related to the Lord’s return and instead be busy about our responsibilities at hand to be vessels of honor for Our Lord and Our Friend, to use in a dying world.

Remembering the story of the ten virgins in Mathew 25: Always have your lives full of the Holy Spirit and all that Our Lord and Our Friend has for us In verse 13 of Mathew 25;

“Therefore be alert, because you don’t know either the day or the hour”.

The world is looking for people who know what they believe and why they believe, and are not shifted by ever wind of doctrine. We can do this by knowing the Assurance of our Salvation and daily walking in the presence of Our Lord and Our Friend.

God Bless.
