How deep have we received, the Good News that Our Lord and Our Friend has for us all.

To use as an example, there are different kinds of cooking procedures, and one is to marinate;

Marinate definition from a dictionary is: To soak, in a seasoned Liquid to flavor and make more tender. If we were to Marinate our lives in and for the purposes and destiny Our Lord and Our Friend has for our lives. imagine what an impact we could have for the Kingdom Of God.

The Good news that is presented through the Gospels, comes through Repentance of the things God calls ‘sin’ in our lives.

Romans 3 verse 23: “For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God”.

Repentance not just say you are sorry, but to turn away from the things that separate us from God..

1 John 1 verse 9: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”.

God gives to us true freedom. Freedom from the power of sin, sin that has awful consequences on our lives.

If we are to live free, it will because of God’s actions, not because of our own will, or disposition or political alliance or our intelligent.  We are rescued from this present evil age by what Christ Jesus did for each one of us on the cross. Life is not produced by us, it is supernaturally provided for us.

Let us turn to Galatians 1 verse 5: Paul speaking:

“I am amazed that you are so quickly turning away form Him, who called you by The Grace Of Christ, and are turning to a different gospel, Not that there is another Gospel of Christ.”

and from the Message Bible the same verse:

“I can’t believe your fickleness— how easily you have turned traitor to Him who called you by the Grace of Christ by embracing a Vibrant Message”

We can all hear the Gospel message, but how much does the Gospel Message mean to us. Let it be a Message, that we truly MARINATE in.  A seasoned anointing of the Holy Spirit, to prepare us for the life, Our Lord and Our Friend has ordained for us before the foundations of the world.

Responding to that calling, He has for us, and accepting Him, is how we come to Salvation. This is the start of a new journey for our lives. How deep we go in Him and with Him on that journey, is also available to us, and He has much Marination to bring to our lives.

Our Lord and Our Friend wants to flavor us all. Once we are Marinated in the Joy of His Presence, there is no turning back because there is nothing of equal to turn back to.
