Sunday Encouragement

encourage

If this is your day for rest like us all you still need encouragement. Be encouraged today by this wonderful scripture verse from Psalm  Verse :

Psalm 92 verse 12;  “The righteous thrive like a palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon”.

Jeremiah 17 verse 8: Also explains that a person who trust in God, is like a tree planted by water.

Jeremiah goes on to say in verse 8; that, that person will send out roots towards a stream, and because of this they don’t worry about the season in life.

The water we need to be planted by, is The Living Water, as pertaining to Our Lord and Our Friend. John 4 verses 13 7 14:

So when we trust and have our faith in Our Lord and Our Friend, our leaves, or what it is trying to tell us, our lives display a freshness and attractiveness. This freshness should always be our testimony, whether we are going through good times or dry times  or even bad times.

Virtually when we trust and have faith in Our Lord and Our friend, we should be a tree for all seasons. It doesn’t matter what season we are in our trust and our faith should be for all seasons.

Jeremiah 17 verse 7 and 8: are great scripture for reflecting on this;

V:7: “Blessed is the man {or woman} who trust in the Lord,”

V8: “He will be like a tree planted by water: it doesn’t fear when the heat comes, and it’s foliage remains green. It will not worry in the year of drought or cease producing fruit:.

When we have our lives based around and in the River of Life, Our Lord and Our Friend, we don’t need to have fear, because His perfect Love cast out fear, And we don’t need to worry, because He said He would never leave us or forsake us.

To become a tree for all seasons, we need to be planted in faith, in Our Lord and Our Friend, and we need to grow strong roots, from the nourishment of His Word. So we can produce the fruits of His Kingdom Galatians 5 verse 22:

Our leaves and our foliage, is to display, the source  and reason for our strength, which only comes from the great God we serve.
