Welcoming People

We need to be welcoming people, we have ourselves been welcomed boldly before The Throne of Grace. Hebrews 4 verse 16.

We need to look at how far Our Lord and Our Friend has brought us. Romans 5 verse 8 and 9:

V8: “But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us!”

V9: “Much more than, since we have now been declared righteous by His blood, we will be saved through Him from wrath.”

We need to look at the fact, we are being transformed into His Image, but we are still sinner saved by grace. That is the only thing different about us, but sometimes the world can see no difference. Romans 12 verse 2.

God through Christ Jesus, went out of His way, to welcome any ‘Whosoever’.

God is in the business of Transforming people {sinner], but how will many know. unless, they see the progress in work in our lives. Micah 6 verse 8:

“He has told you men {women] what is good and what it is the Lord requires of you: Only to act justly, to love faithfulness, and to walk humbly with your God”.

Humility to see how far we came , and doesn’t gloat, but wants others to join the journey and walk humbly with God, as their Lord and their Friend.

Welcoming people for who they are, created in the image of God, and not for what they have done or doing. The world is full of fallen people, of which we were, but the world needs to see transformed people, living transformed lives through The Cross of Christ.

If our lives were an open book, the message that needs to be read, Colossians 1 verse 27:

“God wanted to make known to those among the gentiles the glorious wealth of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory”.

We can’t be welcoming if we are ashamed of who we are, Romans 1 verse 16:

God so loved He gave. John 3 verse 16: This is a giving and welcoming Love, our lives be giving and welcoming. Giving and welcoming people, putting away preconceived concepts, we may be hurt by being welcoming, even if we are rejected, because it is never about us. Our lives now, are all about Him, and what He is doing in our lives, to be a giving and welcoming people.

God Bless.
