Scripture Verse Of THe Week ‘Psalm 118 verse 5’

Psalm 118 verse 5: {Amplified Bible}:

“Out of my distress I called upon the Lord; the Lord answered me, and set me free and in a large place”.

We might go through life, never troubled, never distressed but we are all in a place where, we were not created to be, separated from our Loving God, because of sin {wrong-doing against Him}.

Amazing Grace, the wonderful Hymn, which is sung in some surprising places:

Amazing Grace! How sweet the sound.

That saved a wretch like me;

I once was lost, but now am found;

Was blind, but now I see.

Out of our distress, from living a life, that we were not created for.

Out of our distress, where we come to admit, we are lost in a worldly sea.

Out of our distress, where we realize we are blind, to the amazingness of His Grace and forgiveness, and He wants to give us new life.

John 3 verse 16″ Amp Bible: :For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He {even} gave up His only-begotten {unique} Son, so that ‘whoever’ believes in {trust, clings to, relies on} Him shall not perish— come to destruction, be lost — but have eternal {everlasting} life”.

Out of my distresses, I called to The God that created me. No debating whether He exists, but out of my distresses, realizing I was not created for nothingness, there was a purpose for my life. I called to God, Who was waiting for me to respond.

The Lord answered me and set me free from distresses of a sinful life without Him has. The Lord put me in a large place, His Grace, His Mercy, His Forgiveness, and the New Life In Him, He has for us all, we can’t be put in a more larger place then that. He placed us as His children, in The Kingdom of His son, Who gave everything for us.

God Bless.
