The most widely spread book, but the most under used, The Bible.
The phrase ‘Do not be afraid is written 365 times in The Bible, one for everyday of the year.
Fear is a dreadful thing, in can stop a person from being the person they were created to be.
‘Do not afraid’, because our creator God loves us dearly. Even though we may think we have done some awful things, His forgiveness is always available to us. John 3 verse 16: Tells of His great love for any ‘whosoever’, and by acceptance of His love, through our repentance, we are changed from a ‘whosoever’ into a member of His Kingdom, where Our Lord and Our Friend is King.
That when His Word, becomes ‘Living Word to us, “Do not be afraid”.
We may be deeply troubled by some circumstances around our lives, remember we have been changed from a ‘whosoever’ into His Kingdom People. Hebrews 4 verse 16: tells us, as Kingdom People, there is something we can do.
“Therefore let us approach the Throne of Grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find to help us at he proper time”.
Some translation use, “at the time of need’. Certainly being afraid is a time of need.
