Everybody likes to be blessed, and there is one sure way we will find blessing.

Deuteronomy 11 verses 26. 27, 28:

V26: “Look today I set before you a blessing and a curse”.

V27: “there will be a blessing, if you obey the commands of the Lord your God I am giving you today”.

Might seem harsh, but what God has planned for us, if we walk in fellowship with Him, is blessings. That is the way He plan it, and if we choose not to, we are not part of His plan for our lives, we can’t expect the blessings that come with communal walking with Him.

The New Testament, Our Lord and Our Friend, gives us a new commandment:

John 13 verse 34 and 35:

V34: “I give you a new commandment; love one another. Just as I loved you, you must also love one another“.

V35: “ By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another”.

The way to blessing in a followers life, is not hard to figure out, it is obedience to God. This does not mean legalism. Our Lord and Our Friend said in John 14 verse 15:

“If you love me you will keep My commandments”.

We can arrange our lives, to feel good, on personal experiences and comforts. but may bring some kinds of blessing, But we should be arranging our lives, on pleasing Our Lord and Our Friend, by honoring Him, and the blessings will be eternal not temporal.
