Faith In Action ‘Big Little Question’

question

The big than big little question: Genesis 3 verse 1: “Did God really say?’

There is an easy way to know the answer to that question. Deuteronomy 6 verse 5 and 6:

V5: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength”.

V6: ““These words that I give you today are to be in your heart”.

The answer comes from our heart, and not out of our heads. If you really love somebody you know what they like, who they are, and what they stand for.

The answer is from His Commandments, they were given to us out of love, so we would have guidelines to live. Most people see the Law as authoritative, and restricting, but God’s Law is not to bind and restrict, they are full of Grace and Mercy, to give assistance to our lives.

Perhaps Old Satan, has outsmarted himself with that question, and perhaps is we ask ourselves that question, “Did God really say?”, before we do anything, We would remind ourselves of what Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend, really said, and what He has done for us. John 3 verse 16:

When we have issues in life, what has God said about us: Jeremiah 29 verse 11:

“‘For I know the plans I have for you.’— this is The Lord’s declaration —’plans for your welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope’.”

When we go through problems in life. Psalm 23:

V1: “The Lord is My Shepperd; there is nothing I lack“.

When at times we feel alone: Hebrews 13 verse 5:

Jesus said: V5: “I will never leave you or forsake you.”

So we see the ‘Big Question’ is easy when we receive and believe, His Word, which is to become apart of our lives. When we know it and show it, we can say, “God has really said”.

God Bless.
