Faith In Action ‘Seeking God’

I was reading Ecclesiastes this morning and realized how important it is to seek Gods’ will in everything I do, even though He has given me freedom to make my own decisions.

Ecclesiastes 2:24-25:

Verse 24: “There is nothing better for man {woman} than to eat, drink and to enjoy his work. I have seen that even this is from God’s hand.”

Verse 25 “For who can eat and who can enjoy life apart from Him.””A person can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in their own toil. This too, I see, is from the hand of God, for without Him, who can eat or find employment?”

My thoughts went to – well I CAN eat and find employment without Him. But then in Verse 26: it says “To the person who pleases Him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness….”

This was very thought provoking, helping me to be consciously aware that in everything (big and small) I seek His will and His purpose.

I pray that you will experience God’s wisdom in all your decision-making.

May God bless you and keep you, and grant you His peace.

Blessings
