Reflective Moment ‘An Invitation’

We all like invitations, invitations to parties, invitations just to come over just to visits, but there are so many places we can receive an invitation to.

God gave everybody an invitation in John 3 verse 16: Which is the best known invitation for everybody in the Bible.

In Matthew we are given another invitation to come:

Matthew 11 verse 28 to 30:

V28: “Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest“. V29: “All of you. take up My Yoke and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for yourself”. V30: “For My yoke is easy and My burden is light”.

Is A wonderful invitation to come. These words must surely be among the most appealing that Jesus spoke. No wonder that the crowds, listened to Him, with great intent.

This Easter time let us take the time to reflect, because what Christ Jesus achieved on the cross, for any ‘Whosoever‘ {anyone who acknowledge Him through repentance and acceptance}.

There is more about Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend, we should come to know. He has more to give us, and when at times, and there will be times, when times seem tough and hard. He tells us, ‘to come unto Him and He will give us rest.

Salvation is more than a ticket for a journey, It is a promise that He is with us all the way. Just like on any journey, we need time out, well come unto Him, for In Him we have wonderful assurances.

God Bless.
