When reading the Old Testament, we will discover that it rarely talks about God as Father.
In the New Testament, God is only known as Father through Christ Jesus The Son. Christ Jesus spoke of His Father as ‘Abba’
This is an intimate and relationship word, which most of us know as ‘daddy’. In using this word Christ Jesus was displaying His Own deep personal relationship with God The Father.
Through Jesus, God The Father is being displayed, as not far away, and is not hard to approach and know, but is close by waiting for us to come. To acceptance His love John 3 verse 16:
Acceptance of His Love, John 3 verse 16: “For God loved the world in this way; He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes i Him will not perish but have eternal life”.
Allows us to come before Him, Hebrews 4 v 16: “Therefore let us approach the Throne of Grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find Grace to help us at the proper time”.
