A noted Christian author once said, “Christians do not claim to have found God; rather we claim God found us.

If God had not revealed Himself, we would have no hope of even truly knowing Him.

” Why believe at all?” If you don’t believe in God, and that God created all of us, you absolutely have no idea where you came from. There is always ‘the big bang theory’, a big explosion from which humans, animals and vegetation all came from. Why are there so many different species of animals, so many different type of vegetation? You could even break that down further than that and break it down to land animals, sea animals and flying ones {we didn’t refer to them as creatures because in that theory you would have to take out the creation from creatures}. You could also break down vegetation into trees, shrubs and flowers etc. You could say things evolved into different things to survive, but for that there would need to be some guiding intelligence for that to happen. Big bangs are most definitely not intelligent happenings.

The reason to believe is obvious, because the existence of our universe points to a creator.  Remember the song “Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so.” The Bible is the Word of God, where The Creator reveals Himself to us. The Bible tells us we were created with a purpose to have fellowship with the Creator. The Bible repeatedly states, that God created the universe and that without His creative work nothing outside Him exists.

John 1 verse 3. {Message Bible} “Everything was created through Him; nothing – not one thing! – came into being without him.”

Colossians 1 verse 16 “Everything got started in Him and finds its purpose in Him.”

Atheists will contend that no designer is necessary, arguing that everything in the universe including complex life on the planet is a product of naturalistic mechanics: random chance and natural selection. But such beliefs are held contrary to the evidence.

It is up to all of us not just to believe somebody else’s theory, but to find Truth for ourselves. Some body else’s beliefs will not save you. It is knowing the Truth for yourselves.  Look around you and see the wonders of nature, they point to a creator. Ask This Creator to become Your Lord and Your Friend.
