Reflective Moment ”Very Different Success’

success

Success as a dictionary would define it is: The achievement of what is attempted, intended or desire;

Every year I purchase a new diary, I am still old school, I like to see it in print, what I am to do and not on a screen. The Diary I use every year has daily devotions, not that I forget, getting into His Word at all, because that is a important part of my life, and the life of this ministry. To read something from an angle, I might not look at, or sometimes to see a Word study, My Lord My Redeemer and My Friend, wants me to follow. I am always open to His leading.

This article came to my attention, ‘The Road to success is not straight’.

The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called Failure; a loop called Confusion; speed bumps called Friends; red light called Enemies; caution lights called Family. You will have flat tires called Jobs. But, if you have a spare called Determination; an engine called Perseverance; insurance called Faith, and a Driver called Jesus, you will make it to a place called Success. {Anonymous}

Success in knowing that you are in the Will of God, with Our Lord and Our Friend in the drivers seat.

The above little article, reminds me of The Book Pilgrim Progress, which has a board game, my grandchildren love to play with me, over and over again.

We all need to find, like the character Christian in Pilgrims Progress, The Cross of Christ, where our burdens can be lifted., and Christ Jesus can become the driver in our lives.

That is a very different success, from what the world calls success, but it is a success, that will be with us to our eternal destination.

God Bless This New Year.
