If this is your day for rest, you still need encouragement. Perhaps you live in a place where rest is hard to come by, be encouraged. We all should be about encouragement, take the time to encourage someone today.

John 14 verse 27

Peace I leave with you, My peace i give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. You heart must not be troubled or fearful.

Another scripture Philippians 4 verse 7   “And the peace of God, which passes all understanding”

“Yes” that PEACE, Jesus Our lord and Our Friend leaves with us.

It is not a worldly peace, it is His own infinite peace. MY PEACE I GIVE YOU.

This is not something temporary, or just comes and goes, it is a powerful peace.

Peace not as the world gives.

Real peace from the creator of everything, He was giving them a legacy of peace that had and has the power to banish fear and trouble from their hearts {and ours}.

These scriptures are living word, Jesus was speaking these words to you and me, just as clearly and immediately as they were spoken to the disciples two thousand years ago.

Mediate on this, remember this, Our Lord and Our Friend has said it MY PEACE I GIVE YOU.

And your heart must not be troubled or fearful.

God’s peace will help us all overcome our fearfulness.

Remember He is the God of yesterday, today tomorrow and forever.

Come let Him bathe you in this peace.
