Point To Ponder ‘Faith Is A Substance’

Faith is the substance, and has substance.

Hebrews 11 verse 1; “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”. {NKJV}

Substance means: {1}’The main essential part of things, as distinct from it properties.’ {2} ‘what things consist of.’

‘Faith is a substance’, it is bigger than we understand. It has power to express the new creation,{of who we are in Christ} and brings forth the Glory of God.

Faith is assurance, and is always at peace, undisturbed no matter what happens, even with storms going on around us, may make our boat rock back and forth,

We read in Mark 4 verse 35 to 41: Jesus and His disciples were in a boat, during a storm. Jesus was asleep during the storm, and His disciples cried out to Him. Jesus after He calmed the storm, asked His disciples, verse 40: “Why are you fearful? Do you still have no faith”.

When The Lord is with us in our lives, we too might ask ourselves the same questions.

Hebrews 12 verse 2: “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith”.

Our Lord and Our Friend is The Author, the One who birthed faith into our lives. He has also showed us He is the substance of faith, Philippians 4 verse 13: “I am able to do all things through Him who strengthens me”.

Faith is a substance that can grow, through understanding who we are In Christ Jesus, Our Lord and Our Friend is the finisher of our faith, because he said from the Cross it is finished {John 19 verse 30}: Everything He came to do was finished, now it is through our Faith in Him, we can do all things, by the substance of Faith, that he planted to grow in our lives.

God Bless
