Ecclesiastes 3 verse 14:

“I know that all God does will last forever; there is no adding to it or taking from it. God works so that people will be in awe of Him”.

This verse would seem to suggest that nothing we do really matters, after all, God’s will is going to be done no matter what.

This is a flawed perspective, and neglects the fact that God has chosen to accomplish His Will through His creations. Repentance and acceptance give us new life, we become agents of God’s power and purpose, and more than just puppets at His bidding. We become joint heirs, Romans 8 verse 17.

Thus Ecclesiastes 3 verse 14; is an invitation to link our goals, dreams and skills to God’s grand design. We were created with a purpose, through repentance and acceptance of The Gift of Grace at Christ expense. Lets all become vessels of God’s purpose, and live the life we were created for./
