Unexpected and unpredictable circumstances are a part of life and often interrupt the predictable flow of events.

Ecclesiastes 9 Verse 12: “Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their efforts”.

We cannot control, understand, or perfectly anticipate what life has to offer, but we can learn to trust Our Lord and Our Friend.

Ecclesiastes here, emphasizes the value of partnership, friendship, and community over isolation. It highlights that two people working together achieve better results, provide mutual support during failures, offer warmth, and can defend each other against threats. The passage concludes hat “threefold cord is not quickly broken.

We were created with a purpose; we were created for relationship. Genesis 2 verse 18:

“Then The Lord said, ‘It is not good for man to be alone”.

Jeremiah 29 Verse 11:” I know the plans I have for you’, Declares the Lord”.

Our abilities do not guarantee success. The successful person knows how to make the most of ‘a time and a way’ and also realizes that only The Lord can control ‘place and time’. .

Our Lord and Our Friend loves us dearly, and He wants us to live in fellowship with Him and a partner in life to help us too. A threefold cord cannot be broken because we were created to live in relationship.
