Jesus himself warned us that since we are not of the world, because through repentance and acceptance of what He has done for us on the Cross, we have become Kingdom people and He is our King.

The world will hate us just as it hated Him: John 15 verse 18 and 19: {Message Bible};

“If you find the godless world is hating you. remember it got it’s start hating Me. If you lived on the world’s terms, the world would love you as one of it’s own. But since I picked you to live on God’s terms and no longer on the world’s terms, the world is going to hate you”.

However this does not give us permission to hate the world back, Our Lord and Our Friend certainly doesn’t. John 3 verse 16:

What we are supposed to do, however, is to win people over to Him. The question is how might we live in such  away as to get the world’s attention, for all the right reasons.

Perhaps the answer comes from, Romans 13 verse 14:

“But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no plans to  satisfy the fleshly desire”.

Be en-clothed in  Our Lord and Our Friend, and through His righteousness alone, we will able to understand Philippians 4 verse 13: more:

“I am able to do all things through Him who strengthens me”.
