Faith In Action
The Importnace of love.
Having love written on our hearts doesn’t make us perfectly behave.
Jesso told us to love others as he loved us.
Our natural love needs revelation about really loving others.
This can start with us being willing to ask Our Lord and Our Friend to show us how much He loves us. He showed us that on the cross.
Then we might find that loving others starts with receiving, not achieving? Trusting instead of trying.
1 John 4 verse 19: Love never brings fear, for fear is always related to punishment. But love’s perfection drives the fear of punishment far from our hearts. Whoever walks constantly, afraid of punishment, has not reached love’s perfection’.
Knowing how much Our Lord and Our Friend loves us is essential to our loving others.
We must trust the love of God, not try to imitate or produce it.
The moon reflects the light from the sun.
In the same way, we reflect the love of the SON.
Apart from Him, we can love no one,
John 15 verse 5: “He is the vine, we are the branches”.
God Bless.
