Reflective Moment ‘Have A Life That chases After God’

Image

Reading the Bible, we will always find new gems to reflect on. Something I have read many times, but this time it sparkled at me when reading it, so I need to share it.

In acts 13 verse 22: Paul is preaching in Antioch, and he briefly points out a statement made by God concerning David.

“I {referring to God} have found in David the son of Jesse, a man after My heart, who will carry out all My will”.

This is a picture of somebody who is totally sold out, not just to the mission of God, but to the Person of God.

Totally sold out to God, this is not a heavy handed thing, it is a response  to the Gift we have In Christ Jesus Our Lord and Our Friend.

Our sold-outedness to Our awesome and wonderful God, is that we should totally commit ourselves to knowing Him, worshiping Him, seeking Him, communicating with Him {in prayer}, and praising Him, for His goodness to us.

God is no respecter of persons, David found out, what he had to do to be called ‘a man after ‘God’s own heart who will do all my will’, so there is nothing stopping any of us from pressing into God, to find that same purpose.

God Bless.
