Faith In Action ‘Circumstances Bring Opportunities For Testimonies’

What a great scripture verse, but all scripture verse are, but there is always one right for every situation. “Give Thanks In All Circumstances”.

I had plenty of time to reflect lately, sitting in a hospital bed, going through a health challenge. I know I had plenty of people praying for me, but my journey in faith took a detour, to a hospital bed through severe pain.

The pain was bought under control, the hospital results are challenging but not life threatening, but I got to meet a lot of great people, who don’t have a faith and the hope, that a person can have from knowing Our Lord and Our Friend.

I sure had the symptoms of being ill, and a diagnoses which needs treatment, but I felt like the healthiest person in hospital, as I look around the people that were around me.

With hospital these days, really not welcoming people to witness and pray for people outside there own chaplain programme. and they do a great job. A person can chose not to see them, so these people are the people that need to be shared with, with empathy, if one gets a chance.

Sometimes people end up in hospital through sheer bad luck, other times it is from a life choice, eg; smoking.

Actions brings consequences, and consequences require actions, so sometimes hospitals are the consequences where the treatment actions happen, but God is Sovereign though in everything.

We all must take responsibility for our actions and the circumstances that hit us in life, and sometimes we might end up in a place we don’t want to be.

This is where our actions, consequences and circumstances, can become opportunities for the Sovereignty of God. This is where our journey through life becomes testimonies, that serve our Our Lord and Our Friend, and bring glory to The Father.

We should never miss an opportunity for this, despite the circumstances we might go through. ‘Through’ is the ultimate word with Our Lord and Our Friend, and He said He would never leave us or forsake us.

God Bless.
