Religion: any practice, matter, etc, treated with devotion or keen conscientiousness; eg. Crusading for peace is a religion with them.

Many songs sing a message like this ‘imagine no religion’, which merely refers to a religion about a belief in God, but religion is really a belief system, we all have beliefs whether, we believe in God or not.

Whether you support secular society without God, it is a belief system. What the words of the songs are trying to say ‘imagine’ if all the people think the same way. Then we start a new problem, whose views are we following, who is trying to pigeon hole us into a belief system.

A belief system is a ‘religion’, religion comes from a word to bind.

Humans were created with creative thinking, and that is the belief, we are following at this ministry. Or We have been exploded into existence, without any creativeness to have any creative thoughts.

One of the things we human are good at doing, and that is control, where we are always trying to control somebodies belief system.

Humanism has a great catch cry way of thinking, virtually it says everybody opinion is worthwhile, until it disagree with who is having the opinion. If everybody thinking is worthwhile, how do we explain the world dictators through history, that have suppressed people thoughts. Are only the dictators thoughts worthwhile because they say? That is contrary to belief position of humanism, so humanism falls apart.

We will all agree, most faith base religions try to control us. Faith base could apply to all belief systems whether God is mentioned or not.

We can see in society as soon as someone makes a law, that is considered good, somebody else is trying to break that law, either because they don’t think much of the law, or they want a challenge to find a way to break the law.

You can’t legislate morality. First though is ‘Whose’ morality are you trying to legislate.

The whole point of this blog, is to get you to think, The control freaks in society will jump up and down and say ‘everybody will think differently and we will have no consensus, so they better think this way.’

Again whatever faith based system we hold to, we all seem to have a moral compass, we know what is intrinsically wrong.

Basically when we strip someone of human dignity, that is wrong. So one way that everybody can have their beliefs is:

“THAT WE SHOULD LOVE OUR NEIGHBORS AS OURSELVES”

Very few people hate themselves, and this way Real Love would be shared.

A thought to ponder and who said this, well it is not surprising but it comes from the greatest Book put into print the Bible.

Galatians 5 verses 13 to 15;   v13”For you are called to freedom, brothers; only don’t use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.

v14 For the entire law is fulfilled in one statement; LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.

v15 But if you bite and devour one another, watch out, or you will be consumed by one another.”
