Scripture Of The Week – Romans 12:12

ROMANS 12 VERSE 12

Rejoice in hope, be patient in affliction , be persistent in prayer.

Rejoice in hope might be hard to understand when sometimes circumstances are against us, but we can rejoice in the anticipation of what God is going to do with our circumstances, and through our circumstances. On cloudy days the sun still shines as brightly as ever in the centre of the solar system.

Despite out circumstances the Son is still shining brightly as ever with His healing balm.

Be patient in affliction. If we understand that the Son is always shining on us, that enables us to have the patients in afflictions. patience is hope in different clothing. Patience is one of the fruits of the spirit, so maybe the Lord needs us to grow in this fruit.

Be persistent in prayer. Remember the promise of prayer {communicating with Our Lord and Friend}, hope will be sustained and the joy is sure to spring from it. Jesus recommends we ‘nag’ God with our requests. Ask and keep on asking. God will always answer sometimes not in away we may want but always with something better.

Romans 12 verse 12 THREE WORDS REJOICE, BE PATIENCE, BE PERSISTANT.

God is looking for those who are persistent in their walk with Him.

God Bless
