Word for season January 2026

Hebrews 1:3 The Passion Translation. “The Son is the dazzling radiance of God’s splendor, the exact expression of God’s true nature – His mirror image! He holds the universe together and expands it by the mighty power of His spoken word. He accomplished for us the complete cleansing of sins and then took His seat on the highest throne at the right hand of the Majestic One.”

The words that struck my heart were “He holds the universe together and expands it by the mighty power of His spoken word.” It was like I saw the ripples that go out from His Rhema word to our hearts, impacting and causing expansion and transformation.

As we repeat the word He speaks to our hearts, His power is released to accomplish all He has purposed.

Do not dwell on the past

Isaiah 43:18-19 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” NKJV

Psalm 45:10-11 TPT “Now listen, daughter, pay attention, and forget about your past. Put behind you every attachment to the familiar, even those who once were close to you! For your royal Bridegroom is ravished by your beautiful brightness. Bow in reverence before Him, for He is your Lord.”

As we approach 2026, let’s be expectant to see what ‘good works” our Lord and Friend has purposed for us in this new season.
