Faith In Action “Staying Strong”

Scripture memory and meditation is the key to a healthy mind for those who have given their lives to Jesus Christ, and centered their thoughts on Him.

Bible verses are high powered doses of truth that maintain God’s wisdom into our everyday reasoning.

Bible Verses offer us encouragement, which can readily revive us when we are struggling, guide us when we are confused and strengthen us when we are weak.

Psalm 119 verse 26 and 27:

Verse 26  ” I told You about my life, and you listened to me; teach me Your statutes.”

verse 27 “Help me understand the meaning of Your precepts so that I can meditate on Your wonders.”

Too often we ask, ‘How can we get out of this trouble?’ When we should be asking, ‘What can we get out of this experience’. In times of trouble we needs Our Lord and Our Friend’s wisdom, The Psalmist knew there were still lessons to learn in the school of life, and he didn’t want to miss them.

Psalm 119 Verse  28:

Verse 28: ”Keep me from the way of deceit, and graciously give me Your instruction.”

When we find ourselves pressured by the enemy our first response is usually to pray that Our Lord and Our Friend will change them, when perhaps our best response would be that Our Lord and Our Friend changes us and enables us to overcome.

The Bible is an astonishing book, it is the creators handbook for His creation, use it as your handbook for life.

Best of all read it as much as you can, everything in it points to the Messiah {Jesus Christ}.

Let Him become the most important friend you have in your life. He loves you and loves you too much to leave you where you are. He has great plans for you.
