The wonder of God’s kindness, wisdom and love. Ephesians 1 verse 2 to 4:

V 2: “Grace to you and peace from God our father and Lord Jesus Christ. “V3: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavens, in Christ. V 4: for He chose us in Him, before the foundations of the world, to be holy and blameless in His sight, In love.”

Note that God chose us even before He created the universe, so that our salvation is wholly of His Grace and not on the basis of anything we ourselves have done. He chose us “In Christ”, not in ourselves. And He chose us for a purpose “To be holy and without fault”.

God planned it from the start, Jesus came and died as one of us, to make us right with God The father, God The Son {Jesus] and God the Holy Spirit.

Christ died to give us freedom. Chapter 1 verse 7 & 8.

Christ now sits again with God and rules over all things. 1 verse 19 to 22.

Christ has given us life and He has given us a future, 2 verses 4 to 6.

This Salvation won by Christ is a gift to us, there is nothing we can do to earn it. 2 verses 8 & 9.

Our responds should be to do good things, not because we have to, but out of our response to Him, and to live as he has always wanted us to live. 2verse 10.

This free gift, of God’s kindness, wisdom and love, means that by repentance and acceptance, all the barriers to His Presence are Broken. Let us come boldly  before His Throne, in adoration and in time of need.
