Salvation is being Born Again

1 Peter 1 Verse 3: “He has given us a new birth into living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”

Through Jesus we receive: MERCY

If God had given us only what we deserve, we would remain guilty and condemned, cut off from Him forever. Yet here we stand before Him declared, ‘not guilty ‘accepted, and loved.

Through Jesus we receive A Father:

Jesus has revealed The Father to us, we are no longer in darkness. We now know God the Father through knowing Jesus. When we believe in Jesus Christ, we are God’s children, and He is our Father.

Through Jesus we receive New Life:

God has redeemed believers from sin and death. This means we no long rely on human religions or our own efforts to reach God. God gives believers freedom, a new life, a new identity and new purpose, and brough us back to Himself

Through Jesus we receive A Spiritual Community:

Jesus is ‘The Living Stone’ through Jesus believers are also living stones. Together we form a living, breathing dwelling place of god—both individually and together as the church. We are to declare His praise and reach out to the world.
