Holy Spirit lead me

2 Corinthians 13:14 “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God and the Fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.”

This verse in The Passion Translation reads “Now may the grace an joyous favor of the Lord Jesus Christ, the unambiguous love of God, and the precious communion that we share in the Holy Spirit be yours continually. Amen.!”

Our current theme at church is ‘Holy Spirit lead me’. How we need the precious and mighty Holy Spirit to lead us in every area of our lives; in our relationships, health, finances, sharing the gospel with others, in discernment, wisdom; just to name a few.

Proverbs 13 verse 17b “but the trustworthy and wise messengers release healing wherever they go”. Chapter 13 speaks about living wisely as lovers of God, and this verse I found encouraging. What a blessing to be called to release healing wherever we go. I believe as we are being led by the Holy Spirit, this is one of the benefits. Many today need healing, whether in their bodies or souls, and it may be found by encountering the love and kindness and generosity of our Lord and Friend. We serve a God of hope.

It may be a smile, a listening ear, a word of encouragement or maybe there is an opening to speak the good news of salvation in our Lord Jesus Christ. One plants, one waters but it is God Who brings the increase. We are His ambassadors, and He has promised never to leave us nor forsake us. We can rely on Him to lead us continually as we fellowship with Holy Spirit, receive the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and rest in the love of our Father God.

May you hear His still small voice more and more clearly and grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
