When we start on a subject of condemnation, a scripture people wouldn’t like to be reminded of is: Romans 3 verse 23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God.”
Now for the good part Romans 3 verse 24; “They {the believers in Christ Jesus} are Justified freely by His Grace through that redemption that is in Christ Jesus {Our Lord and Our Friend}.”
The Holy Spirit is the source of new life. Just as God had to breathe into the lifeless body of Adam at the original creation, so too God has to breathe His Spirit into us to bring us to new life in Christ.
We are no different from anyone else only that we are saved by Grace to grow in Grace, and the new life that Our Lord and Our Friend has for us through the victory He won for us on the cross.
Sometimes it is difficult to feel that God has truly forgiven us, and this makes us feel uneasy. 1 John 3 verse 19 to 20:
v19″Little children, we must not love in word or speech, but in deed and truth;
v20 because is our hearts condemn us, God is greater than our hearts and knows all things.”
God is greater than our feelings. Christianity is based on the Truth of God’s Love, not on the feelings of God’s love.
It is good to come back to the reassurance of our Salvation, by reading Romans 5 verse 8:
“But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.”
Again sometimes those feelings of condemnation will surround and envelope us, but the Truth of the matter is, God {Our Lord and Our Friend} is greater than our feeling and He will always love us.
Romans 8 verse 1 and 2:
v1″Therefore, no condemnation now exist for those in Christ Jesus,
v2 because the Spirit’s law of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.”
Remember when we are IN HIM {Christ Jesus Our Lord and Our Friend} there is no condemnation.
TAKE TIME TO COMMUNE WITH HIM TODAY.
God Bless.
