Job 9 Verse 27: “If I decided to forget my complaints, to put away my sad face and be cheerful”.
We all can acknowledge that sometimes life is hard. Why make it harder on ourselves then what it is?
We need to reduce the strain produced by negative thoughts that really don’t do anything to help us through hard times.
Our Lord and Our Friend went through the hardest of hard times to set us free from the sin that can weigh us down with negative thoughts about ourselves.
Proverbs 21 Verse 23: The one who guards his {or Her} mouth and tongue keeps himself {herself}out of trouble”.
Colossians 3 Verse 2: “Set your minds on what is above, not on what is on the earth”.
Then I will share with you my T.R.E.E. principle:
Training ourselves to recognize negative inner thoughts the minute it starts and delete it immediately.
Replace those negative thoughts with scripture verse and scriptural encouragement from Gods’ Word.
Encourage ourselves in The Lord like David did in 1 Samuel 30 Verse 6:
“David was in a difficult position because the troops talked about stoning him, for they were all very bitter over the loss of their sons and daughters. But David found strength in the Lord his God.”
Embrace ourselves in the Truth of God’s Word Colossians `3 Verse ^; “Therefore, we may boldly say: The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid, What can man do to me”.
Isaiah 55 Verse 12: “You will indeed go out with joy and be peacefully guided; the mountains and the hills will break into singing before you, and all the Trees of the field will clap there hands”.
God Bless.
