From The Heart

Take heed….

Looking back over the last 12 months, I came across this article, which is one that spoke to me early in my walk with the Lord.

Mark 4:24-25 “Then He (Jesus) said to them, ‘Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given. For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him”

Jesus explains the importance of what bring mindful of we hear – not only about the spoken words that we are hearing from others, but also what are our words to ourselves? So many voices after our attention every day, and I pray, ‘Lord let us hear Your voice above all others.  Your wisdom, your counsel, your encouragement that causes me to continue to walk on each day in the good works You have prepared for me.  Taking note not to take on worry and stress about tomorrow, because each does have it own to troubles and Father, you give us grace for the day.”

In Mark 4:15-19, says it’s the enemy who comes to steal the word that’s been sown in hearts; and that “the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches and the desires for other things, entering in (to our hearts), choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.”

Proverbs 4:23-24 AMP says “Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that your guard, for out of it flow the springs of life. Put away from you false and dishonest speech, and wilful and contrary talk put far away from you”.

Wow, how powerful is this scripture! God is so, so good. His desire is to provide all we need. And He shows us how to link in to His power and provision by lining up our thoughts, words, and heart with His Word. Believing Him. Trusting Him. Holy Spirit is our Helper, Teacher.

God Bless
