Jesus has risen from the dead for us, so lets take the grave clothes off, the throne of Grace is available to us.
To know the scriptures is different from knowing the One who inspired scripture.
From john 3 verses 1 to 16, we learn about Nicodemus. Nicodemus was a Pharisee and teacher of Israel, who came seeking answers. Nicodemus had a deep understanding of scripture, but something he found was missing and the only person that could help was the One who inspired them Jesus.
Nicodemus came to Jesus at night, scared he might be seen, but somehow he knew Jesus had the answers he wanted. the conversation that unfolds, however, reveals to Nicodemus that he is in the dark – the darkness of unknowing. Nicodemus was unable to make the connection between God’s promises and all that he sees in Jesus. Nicodemus thought that he knew all he needed to know, but he had questions he could not answer and was drawn to Jesus.
Jesus speaks of new life and transformation. This is being open to the Spirit of God and to receive the Spirit’s directions. there are times when we all wrestle with questions of life, it is in these times we should seek out Jesus like Nicodemus did..
We should all come to the all-knowing God, that He may show us the reality about Himself and all His Creation. Our Lord and Our Friend wants us all to know more about Him. The more we know about him, the more understanding will come as we read the scriptures {Bible} inspired by Him. All who seek Him for answers will never be disappointed.
Nicodemus sought answers and found the Christ for Himself.John 3 verse 5 to 7: Jesus answered: V5: “I assure you: Unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he {they} cannot enter the Kingdom of God.
V 6 Whatever is born of the flesh is flesh, and whatever is born of the Spirit is spirit.
V 7 do not be amazed that I told you that you must be born again.
Read the story of Nicodemus for yourself and also read His Word daily to find out more about Our wonderful Lord and Friend.
God Bless.
