If this is your day for rest, like we all do you still need encouragement. Be encouraged by this wonderful verse from Hebrews 13 Verse  6:

Hebrews 13 verse 6.

“Therefore, we may boldly say; The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me.”

What a privilege, that the God who created everything including you and me, wants to walk in Covenant relationship with us.

Covenant means agreement. This agreement is a lopsided agreement, where all that God has becomes ours, and all that we are becomes His.

When we accept Christ Jesus {Our Lord and Our Friend} this is what really happens. Jesus who is the Creator, died for His creations as one of His creations, to bring us to a place where we can again walk and have fellowship with Him.

No wonder this scripture is about ” We may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid.”

When we reflect on how Awesome Our God, Our Lord and Our Friend is, we can truly say we do not fear, what other people can do to us.

Jesus is described as The prince of Peace, His peace passes all of human understanding, but is available to us.

The Lord Our Lord is Our helper, and one one the defining verses in Hebrews is Hebrews 4 verse 16 ” Therefore let us approach the Throne of Grace with boldness.”

Let us suggest, we learn to live in His presence where his Throne is constantly before our eyes, because the new life he has given us, exceeds anything the world has to offer.
