Unity in the Spirit, not uniformity.

We are all created individuals, for individual expression of our love to and for God.

John 3 verse 16:{Amplified Bible}

“For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He {even} gave up His only-begotten {Unique} Son, so that whoever believes in {trust, clings to, relies on} Him shall not perish—come to destruction, be lost—but have eternal {everlasting life”.

Unity of the Spirit, involves producing Fruit of The Spirit. Galatians 5 verse 22:

{Amplified Bible: “But the fruit of The {Holy} Spirit, {the work which His Presence within accomplishes} — is love, joy {gladness}, peace, patience {an even temper, forbearance}, kindness, goodness {benevolence}. faithfulness”.

We are to be recognized for our Unity in Spirit, not become of some uniformity, conformity. Matthew 7 verse 16: {Amplified Bible}

“You will fully recognize them by their fruits. Do people pick grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?’

Colossians 1 verse 10: “So that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him. bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God”.

Unity in Spirit, producing good fruit, should give us a hunger to know more in the knowledge of God. There is so much to know, if we have the hunger for more of Him.

My dear wife, who has been promoted to Glory, grew roses, she knew what was needed to produce beautiful roses. The roses are still growing in pots, with me looking after them, which is more by chance, then good knowledge about growing roses.. Knowledge to grow good roses can be studied, but knowledge in growing Fruit of The Spirit, can only come by having the Holy Spirit reside in us, and us in unity with The Holy Spirit.

The effort to grow anything good,and nourishing, requires knowledge so our efforts to grow Fruit pleasing to Our Lord and Our Friend, requires us to know more and more about HIM.

To grow so our lives become more fertile’

To grow so the Fruit, is effective for use.

To grow so our Fruit, gives Glory to Him.

Unity of Spirit, is the heart of unity with Our Lord and Our Friend, which doesn’t not need uniformity, to anything the world requires.
