Pleasantness

Pleasantness in life comes from what we were created for, pleasing our Creator. Pleasing Him will lead us to walk in Godliness and pleasantness. Proverbs 3 verses 13 to 18:

V 13; “Happy is a man [or woman] who finds wisdom and acquires understanding”.

V 14: “For she {wisdom} is more profitable than silver, and her revenue is better than gold”.

V 15: She is more precious than jewels; nothing you desire compares to her {wisdom}.

v 16: “Long life is in her {wisdom] right hand; in her left, riches and honor”.

V17: ” Her {wisdom} ways are pleasant, and all her paths, peaceful.

V18: “She {wisdom} is a tree of life to those who embrace her, and those who hold on to her are happy”.

Pleasantness begins, with reverence of God, and it is through the reverence  we have for God, is the beginning of Wisdom.

Proverbs 9 verse 10: ” The fear of The Lord is the beginning of wisdom. and knowledge of The Holy One is understanding”.

Godliness is living right with  Our Lord and Our friend.

1. To know the true God and His Son Christ Jesus. This is the first thing we have to do to get our understanding rightly informed, about how much they love us.

2, To cast all our cares upon Our Lord and Our Friend. this is to commit all  our ways and works to Him, with an assurance that He will care for us.

3. A life of communion and fellowship with God. As followers [Christians} we are to have fellowship with the Father, and The Son {Christ Jesus} and The Holy Spirit. Doing this by reading and meditating upon Scripture, where we can here form God. In prayer and praise where we speak with God,

Pleasantness comes from pleasing God, not by works but by surrender of who we are to Him.

We will find the closer we keep to the ways of godliness Godliness is pleasing God] the greater the pleasantness.

Let us all be persuaded to walk in the paths of God’s wisdom for our lives, which will lead us to walk in Godliness, ways pleasing to our Lord and Our Friend, which will lead us to walk and fellowship in Pleasantness.

God Bless.
