Secured In Faith

Our faith In action, does not spring from insecurity. Our faith in action, is seeded in who we are In Christ Jesus. In Him we have security, purpose and destiny.

It is not a 24 hour check in service, we come and go as we please, our lives should be enveloped in Christ Jesus. We are like a letter in an envelope, enveloped, on all sides. Romans 8 verse !; “For those in Christ Jesus”.

Colosssians 3 verse 3: “For you have died, and your life is hidden with the Messiah in God”.

Secure in Christ: We cannot be separated from the Love of God.

Romans 8 verse 35: “Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Can affliction or anguish or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword”.

Secure in Christ: We have the assurance that all things work together for good.

Romans 8 verse 28: “We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God; those who are called according to His purpose”.

Philippians 1 verse 6: “I am sure to this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus”.

Secure in Christ: We have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1 verse 7: “For God has not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but one of power. love, and a sound mind”.

Secure in Christ: We can find Grace and Mercy in time of need.

Hebrews 4 verse 16: “Therefore let us approach the throne of Grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help at the proper time”.

Secure in Christ, because we are enveloped in Christ. Everything we do for Him. will work together for us, because we love God. Christ Jesus is always there for us in the times of our need. These are promises of security, the world can not give.

By repentance, of all the things we have done wrong, that have separated us from God. We gain acceptance, to be called the Children of God. We can be secure in this knowledge, that we are forgiven and accepted.

Thanks again Pastors Tony and Helen.
