Scripture verse Of The Week

1 Timothy 4 Verse 8; “ For training the body has limited benefit, but godliness is beneficial in every way since it holds the promise for this present life and also the life to come”.

The Apostle Paul tells us in Hebrews 12 verse 1; about running the race of life that lies before us.

Training our bodies great, I have been seeing an Exercise Physiologist for a long time now. When I first went there because my doctor thought it was a good idea, I didn’t think much of it.

As I saw the progress in my body in regard to the benefits of exercise, I continued, because I could see the benefit.

I have always been a faith person too, and I could always see the benefits of training in God’s ways.

The simple reality is as unpopular as this is in these political correct days in which we live, that sin ruins lives. Most people don’t like that word ‘Sin” the reality of that is ‘Sin’ is wrong doing against what God requires.

It is a choose to believe and follow Our Lord and Our Friend, or just as it is, to do anything in life. The choice is an easy one the God that created us Loves us, or the world answer to that, leaves without a relationship with the God that created and loves you.

To follow Our Lord and Our Friend because He has told us He has plans for good and not for ruin for our lives.

But this like physical training, Spiritual training is an undertaking to learn and grow in things we were created for us.

Following Our Lord and Our Friend doesn’t necessarily make our lives easier, but we have our very own relationship with the Creator God, Who has stated He will never leave us or forsake us.

God Bless
