Faith In Action “Trust In The Lord”

mark 5 verse 36.

Trust in the Lord—— Despite the circumstances

The following story is from Book of Isaiah Chapters 36 to 39:

The Assyrians attacked Judah. The Assyrian King Sennacherib sends his commanders to confront the King of Judah, King Hezekiah. Standing in front of the walls of the walled city Jerusalem, the commanders bellow towards the city. Hoping the people who live in the city as well, they bellow, ‘Not to trust in Hezekiah or God”.

Twice the King of Assyria sends messengers to King Hezekiah, telling him that it was useless to trust the Lord to save him and his people. And each time God told Isaiah to tell King Hezekiah, not to be afraid, God himself was going to defeat Assyria.

Hezekiah had a choice to believe. We have a choose to when things come against our lives to believe.

The enemy only has two weapons accusation and deceit. Which will bring us to fear and defeat. The enemy wants us to focus on the ‘what ifs’. and see how much we trust, because it is never futile to trust Our Lord and Our Friend.

The enemy wants us to panic, and live as if we are alone, because getting us to step outside our identity as God’s children brings victory for the powers of darkness.

Our Lord and Our Friend has a better plan for our lives, He wants us to Stand surely and securely in His strength. We are His responsibility, and He promises us to take care of us.

Hezekiah turned to God, and He answered him. It was the enemy that was proved to be the fools.

When we trust Our Lord and Our Friend, our adversary is always proved a fool.

Trust the Lord, and dare to believe that He will give us victory too.

God Bless.
