CHANGES IN LIFE
Throughout our lives, there can be changes and seasons that are not always wise. There are also many consequences for our choices and therefore, as followers of God we must often stand and be accountable testing our decisions of faith and to present ourselves with honour and truth. We, who practice justice in our daily situations, must be open to the spirit of discretion that Jesus would offer.
In Ephesians Four, verse fourteen to twenty-five there is written advice for all such as, ‘we may no longer be children tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine, the cunning of men, by their craftiness in deceit and wiles. Rather speak the truth in love, grow up in every way into Christ’s whole body working properly in bodily growth up-built in love’.
They are also told not to live as Gentiles who live in futility of mind for they are callous, licentiousness, and practice uncleanliness. Assuming you heard him and taught as is in his truth. We are then advised to be renewed in the spirit of our minds and put on a new nature created after the likeness of God, IN TRUE RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HOLINESS.
The end of that chapter emphasizes the truth, not to steal nor tell falsehoods, be not angry with one another. Speak no evil, do honest work, to give to those in need, impart grace to those who hear, do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God. Put away all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor and slander. Then, praise these words to us all…..be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another.as HE FORGAVE YOU. Be blessed all who read this and ‘walk in love.’ It is the Lord’s love we receive every day.
