Faith In Action ‘Freedom Of Forgiveness’

matthew 18 verse 21

The world bases most of it outcomes in economic polices. So it is well that God’s forgiveness is not based on economic, it is free.

As far as reaching our eternal destiny God’s heaven is concerned, the world’s economic calculations are futile.

John 3 verse 16: {Amplified Bible}:”For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only-begotten [Unique] Son, so that WHOEVER believes in [trusts, clings to, relies on] Him shall not perish —come to destruction, be lost— but have eternal [everlasting] life.”

No monetary transaction involved. It comes through repentance [understanding we have fallen short of God’s standard and saying we are genuinely sorry} and accept the Price, that Christ Jesus paid for us on the cross.

God’s Grace and forgiveness, because of His great love for us, cannot be calculated, by the world’s economics. A man who did deal in world economic through making money in the Slave trade, John Newton, come to find God’s economy for forgiveness was free and wrote about it, in the hymn ‘Amazing Grace’

So it doesn’t matter how bad we think we are, God’s Grace and Forgiveness are free, and available to anyone, who will come to Him through repentance and acceptance.

The saying, ‘The Best things in life are free, is true in God’s economy. because His Son paid the Price, for those best things, God’s Grace, God’s love, and God forgiveness.

In Luke 7 verse 36 to 50 the subtitle for these verses is: Much Forgiveness, Much Love: Using verse 42;

Luke 7 verse 42: “when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me, therefore, which of them will love Him more.”

Our Lord and Our Friend has much love, much forgiveness, for whoever comes.

God Bless.
