When we look at Daniel’s life. Daniel walked closely with God. He prayed three times a day, listening, seeking, being with His Lord.

Even the king noticed Daniels’ love for God. “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you service continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?’ Daniel 6 verse 20:

Daniel walked so closely with God that only he, not the well-educated wise men, could interpret the message the mysterious hand had written on the wall.

Daniel loved God, and every king whom Daniel served noticed. King Nebuchadnezzar and King Darius even issued kingdom decrees that gave God honor.

Daniel was one man, just one man who followed God faithfully and pointed the most powerful empires of the world to Him.This is the kind of faithfulness God had long for.

Our Lord and Our Friend wants us to be a light to the nations, to help the nations see that He created this world and loves it’s people. Daniel’s life shows what God is able to do with just one man who wholeheartedly loves and follows Him.

Let us all be people, who are wholeheartedly following Our Lord and Our Friend, so others can know of his goodness.
