Scripture Verse of The Week

hebrews 13 verse 5

Mathew 6 verse 31: So don’t worry saying, ‘What will we eat’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear’.”

Hebrews 13 verse 5: “Your life should be free from the love of money. Be satisfied with what you have , for He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you or forsake you’.”

No wonder Our Lord and Our Friend told us, ‘Seek first the Kingdom of God.’ Mathew 6 verse 33;

If our goals are God-centered, He will help us achieve them.But if we are asking Him for something just because someone else has it, we will be disappointed.

And declared in Psalm 84 verse 11: “For the Lord is a sun and shield. The Lord gives grace and glory; He does not withhold the good from those who live with integrity.”

Our Lord and Our Friend loves us too much to give you what we are not ready for, can not handle and does not fit into His plan for our lives, or will windup draining our energies and maybe breaking us,

When we covet something and make it essential to our happiness, and badger God to give it to us, we are asking Him to replace Himself with something we consider more important.

Our problems can be is not that we do not want God, it is we want God plus what we covert. That is why Our Lord and Our Friend has told us in Luke 12 verse 15 “Watch out and be on your guard against all greed because one’s life is not in the abundance of His processions”.

Life is not built on things, it is built on relationships, and the first relationship we need to work on is our one with Our Lord and Our Friend.

God Bless.
