SHELTER-COMFORT-AND SORROWS OF SOULS
Being a believer requires trusting without knowing in your heart your Lord will Overcome all your situations of sorrow, grief or rejection. In the meantime,you seek patience, Heavenly timing,and increased feelings of faith and courage, to live according to shared love and also,changes of life choices.
Psalm 55: for those who hurt, ‘Listen to my prayer, O God, hear me and answer me…..I am distraught…at the wicked who bring down suffering upon me…..my heart is in anguish within me…..fear and trembling have beset me’
.‘I am overwhelmed with the horror, the violence and strife, malice and abuse. Destructive forces are at work, threats and lies never leave its streets.I could endure insults or fight against a foe or I could hide.
’But I call to God and the Lord saves me (Verse 15), (verse two) I cry out to God most high who fulfills his purposes me
.In Galatians 1 Verse 10: ‘Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please just God? A decision to make! Remember, God does not judge by external appearances. Timothy 2 verse 2 says: ’Preach the word; be prepared in seasons and out of seasons, correct, rebuke and encourage with great patience and careful instruction. Verse 4: ’Keep your head in all situations and endure hardship. Remember always the poor.
’Romans 8 Verse 12: ‘Therefore brothers, we have an obligation-but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it”.
v.13: ‘but if so, you will die, but if by the spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live (14) because those are the sons of God’
So, pray in your sorrows, that the above verses will bring you a shelter, will overcome, according to His shared love, to be blessed with patience and timing, perhaps changed choices, in and out of all seasons, while HIS purposes are being fulfilled.
Romans 8 Verse 15 ‘For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear but you receive the spirit of son-ship…. testifying with our spirit we are God’s children and heirs……..indeed we share in his sufferings in order we may also share in his glory’.
