Sunday Encouragement

If this is your day for rest, you still need encouragement. Be encouraged by these wonderful words from: 2 Corinthians 3 verse 18:

2 Corinthians 3 verse 18: {Living Bible}:

“And all of us have had that veil removed so that we can be MIRRORS that brightly reflect the Glory of The Lord, And as the Spirit of The Lord works within us, we become more and more like Him and reflect His Glory even more”.

Shine because we are being transformed.

The Transformation is the Christian message. When we come to Christ Jesus and ask Him to be Our Lord, Our redeemer and Our Friend, we don’t remain as we are but we become changed, and ever changing into more of His likeness.

There can be no real transformation, unless we become receptor for the light of His Glory to shine, because there is no reflection of light without a previous reception of the light.

It is Christ in us, The light of His presence must first sink in before it can shine out. We must have Christ deeply in our hearts, so that He may shine forth from our lives.

If we were to think of a lighthouse, we become His Hands and His feet, we also become a lighthouse, through His continuing transformation in our lives, beaming His Glory to a lost world.

But unless we surrender the receptors of our lives, to be used for His Glory to shine, that is part of giving our all to Him. Our receptors will only reflect what is in our heart, that we have made available to Him.

The well known song says ‘This little light of mine I’m going to let it shine’, good place to start. But our testimony should be this little light of mine, I’m going to let Our Lord and Our Friend turn it into a bonfire, reflecting and radiating all He is, through our lives.

Galatians 3 verse 20: “And I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life i now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who gave himself for me”.

Our reflector along with all of who we are is being transformed, to display and reflect more of Him, to the dying world around us. Transformation means, we become more and more like Him and reflect His glory even more.

As we continue to grow in Him, and we look in the mirror, we should see more of Him and less of ourselves, thus we can mirror more of Him.

Shine more for Our Lord and Our Friend, as we learn to mirror Him more, through His transforming power in our lives.
